Omar Jibran Engineering Industries Limited (OJ) was incorporated on June the 25th 1987. OJ started commercial production in Karachi plant on July the 1st 1990. The first product was Radiator Grill of injection molded plastic for Suzuki Mehran followed by Bumpers, Instrument Panels and scores of other parts for Suzuki Vehicles. Suzuki was the first customer of OJ, therefore the Management of OJ is thankful to Suzuki for allowing this huge business opportunity.
Indus Motor Company (IMC) started assembly of Toyota Corolla in Karachi in 1992 and became the second customer of OJ. IMC also played significant role in supporting OJ for all her successes and the huge learning opportunity and experience of the world re-nouned Toyota Production System (TPS). OJ is one of the pioneer vendors who supplied parts for Corolla e.g. Door Handles, Bumpers, Instrument Panels and scores of other parts. Today OJ supplies more than 100 injection molded plastic parts for all Toyota Vehicles i.e. Corolla, Hilux and Fortuner.
It is a matter of great honor and privilege that Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Ltd. (HACPL), who established a vehicle assembly plant in Lahore in 1992, invited OJ to setup an Injection Molding Plant in Lahore, in 2005, to manufacture and supply Thermoplastics/Resin Parts for Honda Vehicles.
It is since 2005 that OJ has been proudly supplying major parts e.g. Bumpers, Instrument Panels and scores of other parts to Honda Civic, City and BRV.
Another opportunity arose when in 2008, Atlas Honda Ltd. (AHL), the premium and celebrated Honda motorcycle manufacturer invited OJ to add Motorcycle parts to her product line. OJ welcomed this opportunity and started the new product line for Fenders, Fuel Tanks, and Rims. OJ Management is proud to state that AHL is now the biggest revenue customer for OJ. In conclusion, OJ today is Pakistan's largest manufacturer of Plastic Injection Molded Car Parts, Pressed Sheet Metal and Nickle/Chrome Plated Motorcycle parts. OJ Management is ever so grateful to her customers and commits to continue to supply acceptable quality parts to all her customers on time and at all times while providing excellent after-sale service at competitive prices.
